Tplink TL-WR740N Access Point Quick-setup

Connect the Internet cable with Tplink TL-WR740N Access Point via WAN port. Connect the PC with Tplink TL-WR740N Access Point via LAN then follow the below steps

In Web browser enter the AP IP address 192.168.0.1 and press enter key from the keyboard. Enter the username and password admin and press enter key to login

1. Click on Quick Setup 
2. Click on next button

1. In WAN connection type select Dynamic IP
2. Click on Next button

1. In MAC clone select your required option. If you are not sure about this option then select 2nd option
2. Click on next button

1. Enable the wireless radio
2. Enter the wireless Network Name
3. Select Region
4. Select channel Auto option
5. In mode select 11bgn mixed
6. In channel width select Auto
7. In wireless sucurity select WPA-Personal/WPA2-personal or If you want open wireless network then select disable security and skip next step (8)
8. Enter the wireless password (Minimum 8 Characters)
9. Click on next button

1. Click on Reboot button for applied changes

NOTE: If browsing not start then follow the below step

1. If browsing not start after reboot then click on Network 
2. Then Click on WAN option
3. Select Use these DNS Servers option
4. Enter the Primary DNS 8.8.8.8
5. Enter the Secondary DNS 8.8.4.4
6. Click on save option
