Port forwarding in AN1020-25, AN1020-25u
Port forwarding need
When you have Private IPs on your LAN and want to access your LAN machine outside then you have to forward port to tell NAT device forward the outside client request for this service to that inside LAN machine.i.e If you deploye HTTP WEB server on LAN machine behind NAT with Private address then outside world cannot access. To acces from out side you have to tell NAT device .After login to the router click on "Advanced Setup" then click on "NAT" and then click on "Virtual Servers".
Click on "Add" button.
In "Use Interface" option select interface from drop down menu then click on "Custom Service" and enter any name.In "Server IP Address" option enter the IP address of PC on which you want to forward port.In "Status" option select "Enable" then put the Port start and Port End range. Select Protocol from drop down menu and click on "Apply/Save" option.

Parental control in AN1020-25, AN1020-25u, KW5815
Parental Control is the feature which included in routers. The Parental control have two main categories.
URL filter is used to limit the access to age inappropriate contents.
Before using Parental control set the router time zone otherwise time restriction does not work

- Time Restriction
Here enter the name of User then enter the MAC of PC which you want to time Restrict. "Browser`s MAC Address" show the MAC address of your current PC on which you are working. If you want to time restrict the other PC then select "Other MAC Address" option and enter the MAC address then select the Days on which you want to restrict the devices on LAN. Enter the "Start Blocking Time" and "End Blocking Time" then click on "Apply/Save" to save changes.
2. URL Filter
After Login to router click on "Advanced Setup" Then click on "Parental Control" then click on "URL filter" Option. Select "Exclude or Include" from "URL List Type" according to your requirment. Click on "Add" button and enter the URL of website and then click on "Save/Apply" button.

Time Zone Settings in AN1020-25, AN1020-25u,
After Login click on "Managment" then click on "Internet Time". Check the "Automatically synchronize with internet servers" Then select time zone from drop down menu from "Time zone offset. The 1st, 2nd,.........5th NTP time server can be selected from given time zone options. Click on "Save/Apply" button to save changes.

Backup, Restore and Reset to default setting of AN 1020-25, AN1020-25u, KW5815,
Backup Settings
After login Click on "Managment" then "Settings" then click on "Backup". Then click on "Backup Settings"Restore From Backup settings
After login Click on "Managment" then "Settings" then click on "Update". Then click on "Choose File" button and select the Backup file which you already created. Then click on "Update Settings" button. Your router will rebooted after backup completed.Reset to Factory Default Settings

Creating PPPoE Dialer In Windows 7
- Click on Start and select "Run" Option OR Press "Windows Sign + R" together from Keyboard. Type "rasphone" and click on "Ok"
- Click on "New" button
Click on "Broadband"
Enter "User name" and "Password" and Click on "Remember this password" check box and then click on "Create" button
To use the Dialer again open RUN and type "rasphone" and click on Ok
From drop down menu select the dialer and click on "Connect"
Click on "Connect" button

Fiber Home AN1020-25u configration by Advanced Setup
Step1:After login click on "Advanced setup" then click on "Layer2 Interface" then click on "ATM Interface" and click on "Add" button.
Step2: Add VPI and VCI According to ISP, then click on "Save/Apply" button
Step3:Click on "WAN Service" then click on "Add" button
Step4: From Drop down menu select ATM interface which you created on previous step, then click on "Next"
Step5: The WAN Services can be configured as PPPOE or Bridging. In pppoe mode router will auto connect with WAN and if router configure in bridge mode then user will connect with WAN manually through the dial-up.
Now i select "PPP over Ethernet (PPPOE)" then click on "Next" button
Step6: Enter "ppp Username" and "PPP Password" which provided by ISP, then select "Enable NAT" Then select "Bridge PPPoE Frames Between WAN and Local Ports" then click on "Next" button
Step7: Click on "Next" Button
Step8: Click on "Save/Apply" button.

AN1020-25u Default Wifi key changing method
The default wifi key can be found on label behind the router.
Login the router and click on "Wireless" and click on "Security" then click on "Click here to display" to see the wifi security key. You can change the wifi key by typing the new key in "WPA Pre-Shared key" and then click on "save/appy" button to save new key.
By Default Network Authentication is "WPA2-PSK" selected. Windows XP is not supported this Authentication method. SO windows XP users unable to connect with wifi . So the solution is to change Network Authentication method by clicking on drop down menu and select "WPA-PSK" or "Mixed WPA2/WPA-PSK" and then click on "Save/Apply".

IPTV Configration in KW 5815 Modem
Click on Advanced Setup" then click on "Interface Grouping". In some modems "Port Mapping" option is available instead of "Interface Grouping". Click on "Add" button
In group name type "IPTV" then select "br-0-0-102" OR" br-0-0-35" and move it from right to left then move any Ethernet port from right to left. Your set-up box only work with that port which you will move from right to left. Click on "save/apply" button to save changes.
Note: br-0-0-102 is for copper line users and br-0-0-35 is for fiber line users

IPTV Configration in AN 1020-25
Click on Advanced Setup" then click on "Port Mapping". In some modems "Interface Grouping" option is available instead of "Port Mapping". Click on "Edit" button
Move any Ethernet port number from right to left. I select Ethernet 4, also move the PVC nas-0-0-102 from right to left and click on save button.
If nas-0-0-102 (for PTCL copper line user) OR nas-0-0-35 (for PTCL fiber line user) is not in list then Click Here.
Select the Enable check box and then click on "save/apply" button.
Now PTCL IPTV set-up box only worked with Ethernet 4 because "ENET4" is selected.
Create PVC in Bridge Mode in AN 1020-25
After Login click on "Advanced setup" then click on "WAN". Click on "Add" button.
Add VPI and VCI and click on "next" button
If you are PTCL DSL user then use the following VPI and VCI
For Copper line user VPI (0) VCI (103)
For Fiber line user VPI (8) VCI (81)
For IPTV "copper" VPI (0) VCI (102)
For IPTV "fiber" VPI (0) VCI (35)
select "Bridging" and click on next
Select "Enable Bridge Services" option and click on next button
Click on "save" button
For Copper line user VPI (0) VCI (103)
For Fiber line user VPI (8) VCI (81)
For IPTV "copper" VPI (0) VCI (102)
For IPTV "fiber" VPI (0) VCI (35)
Select "Enable Bridge Services" option and click on next button
Click on "save" button
AN1020-25u Default Username and Password (EVO supported)
All EVO supported modem Default username is "admin" but password is not admin. To find the Default password check the MAC address of router. The last five digits of MAC address is the default password of router.
For example the MAC address of router is (34:BF:A1:B1:C1:D1) then the password will be 1c1d1 .

Fiber Home AN1020-25 reset to factory default settings
There is two methods to reset the router.
Enter username and password as "admin" and press ok for login.
After login click on managment, then click on settings, then click on "restore default" option.
Then click on "restore default setting" button. its done now
Method 1= Hard reset the router
To reset Fiber Home AN1020-25 to factory default settings press the reset button by inserting the pin for 10 seconds. If the router rebooted, its mean router is reset. If router not restart then repeat this step again.Method 2 = Soft reset the router
First of all login the router by entering the router IP address, 192.168.1.1 in web browser.Enter username and password as "admin" and press ok for login.
After login click on managment, then click on settings, then click on "restore default" option.
Then click on "restore default setting" button. its done now

Fiber Home AN1020-25 configration (For PTCL users only)
NOTE {This configarion is for both copper and fiber lines users}
First of all power on the Fiber Home AN1020-25 router.Make sure the PC is Connected with router via Ethernet cable.
Open browser ( IE and chrome are recommended). In address bar type 192.168.1.1 and press enter
A pop-up windows appears.
Enter username and password.
By default username is admin and password is admin. click on ok for login
After successful login you see the router page .If you are not login then click here.
After succesful login click on "Easy Installation".
Enter your username and password provided by ISP and click on "apply/save" button.
